1965-1970 Chevy Impala Complete Lowering Air Ride Suspension System Kit
Order this complete air ride suspension system designed by True Suspension specifically for the 1965-1970 Chevrolet Impala sedan — a different generation platform than our 1958-1964 kit, with its own front-to-back system built to lay your Impala out at a show and ride comfortably on the highway.
Up front, a set of front air spring mounts (upper mounts bolt-on, lower mounts weld-on or optional bolt-on, hardware not included) pairs with a front shock relocation kit that includes upper mounts, lower mounting bolts, and a pair of gas-charged shocks — needed because dropping the front this far means the shocks have to be repositioned to keep functioning correctly. Out back, rear air spring mounts bolt on at the top and weld on at the bottom. The air spring setup pairs 2500 D2 series air springs with 2500 D1 series air springs, matched front and rear to this generation's specific chassis geometry.
Powering the system is a 1/3 HP compressor rated for 100% duty cycle, backed by a 40 amp relay and a 3-gallon, 5-port stainless steel air tank rated to 1000 PSI max. Control comes through an Active Air pneumatic paddle switch controller — non-electric, with a 150 PSI lighted gauge (white or black face depending on stock) — for slow, smooth front-to-back control without complicated electronics. A 90-120 PSI pressure switch keeps constant air maintained automatically. The kit includes a 50 ft roll of 1/4" OD air hose and a complete 1/4 tube fitting pack to connect everything, including a drain plug for the air tank (fittings may vary depending on stock).
