1958-1964 Chevy Bel Air Complete Lowering Air Ride Suspension System Kit
For sale: a complete air ride suspension system designed by True Suspension for the 1958-1964 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan built on the same full-size chassis platform shared by the Impala and Biscayne of this era, so this system delivers the same purpose-built fit and drop that classic full-size Chevy owners rely on. A full front-to-back setup, it gets you laid out at a show and rides comfortably on the highway without a patchwork of separate parts.
Up front, a set of front air spring mounts (upper mounts bolt-on, lower mounts weld-on or optional bolt-on, hardware not included) pairs with a front shock relocation kit that includes upper mounts, lower mounting bolts, and a pair of gas-charged shocks necessary because dropping the front this far means your shocks need to be relocated to keep functioning properly. Out back, rear air spring mounts bolt on up top and weld on at the bottom. The air spring setup uses 2500 D2 series air springs paired with 2500 D1 series air springs, matched front and rear to this chassis's specific geometry.
Powering the system is a 1/3 HP compressor rated for 100% duty cycle, backed by a 40 amp relay and a 3-gallon, 5-port stainless steel air tank rated to 1000 PSI max. Control comes through an Active Air pneumatic paddle switch controller, non-electric, with a 150 PSI lighted gauge (white or black face depending on stock), giving you slow, smooth front-to-back control without complex electronics. A 90-120 PSI pressure switch maintains constant air automatically. The kit includes a 50 ft roll of 1/4" OD air hose and a complete 1/4 tube fitting pack to connect everything, including a drain plug for the air tank (fittings may vary depending on stock).
