Ford F100 1965-1979 Complete Air Ride Suspension Lowering System Kit
Shop this complete air ride system built for 1965-1979 Ford F100 pickups, engineered around a rear suspension design suited to a truck rather than a sedan: a parallel 4-link with a Panhard bar, built specifically with towing and handling in mind rather than just ride height.
Up front, air spring mounts are bolt-on with hardware included — a more straightforward install than the weld-on front mounts our classic car kits require. Out back, rear mounts are upgraded to weld-on under and at the rear of the axle to maximize suspension travel, working alongside the rear weld-on heavy-duty parallel 4-link with Panhard bar. That 4-link setup uses 1.25" DOM tubing bars and 1.75" rod ends, a spec choice aimed at handling towing loads and keeping the rear axle located properly under real work, not just show use. Four air springs, mixing 2500 and 2600 series, round out the lift and drop capability.
Powering the system is a 1/3 HP, 100% duty cycle compressor with a 40 amp relay, feeding a 3-gallon, 5-port stainless steel tank rated to 1000 PSI. A non-electric Active Air pneumatic paddle switch with a 150 PSI lighted gauge handles control, backed by a 120 PSI pressure switch that maintains air automatically. A 50 ft roll of 1/4" air hose and a complete fitting pack, tank drain plug included, finish out the kit.
Given the rear 4-link and Panhard bar install involved, we strongly recommend a professional installer with the right equipment handle this build.
